What does the Negative Heel do?

The negative heel creates that your heel is lower than the rest of the foot. This negative heel angle of -3.7° relieves pressure on your forefoot and joints. At the same time, once you get used to the shoes, there is a stretching of the calf muscles and the posterior fascial chain, which leads to a better posture. The relief of the forefoot can help you especially with pain that comes from a high forefoot load.

What kind of influence does the dynamic rocker sole have?

Dynamic rocker sole is a special type of shoe sole, which is characterized by a curved shape. The rounded sole is higher in the area of the heel and forefoot than in the middle and thus creates a curvature. You roll over the sole so to speak. The curved shape of the sole is designed to help the body walk and roll in a more natural way, reducing stress on the feet, knees and hips. The increased rolling also stimulates circulation and creates a dynamic stretch in the backs of the legs as you walk.

FAQ

What are the sizes of RECOVERY SLOPES?
Here you can find the size chart. If you are between two sizes and you know that they are rather narrow and flat compared to the average, we recommend you to choose the smaller size. If you have a wide foot shape and a high instep, it is advisable to tend to choose the next size up if you are at the upper limit. Otherwise, select the size for the RECOVERY SLOPES using the table.
How can I clean the product?
If the RECOVERY SLOPES ever get dirty, rinse them with water and rub them with a dry cloth. The SLOPES cannot be washed in the washing machine.
Are there different models for women and men?
No, the shoes were designed unisex.
Why a Negative Heel?
Good posture is important for everyone: in modern everyday shoes, the heel is usually much higher than the toes. This throws the body's center of gravity out of balance. The calf muscles hold a high tension and are therefore in a short position. shortened The pelvis tilts forward. This results in a hollow back. Pain in the musculoskeletal system is pre-programmed as a result. The minimally negative heel of the RECOVERY SLOPES has the opposite effect: Here, too, the body's center of gravity is brought minimally out of balance. However, the 3.7° lowered heel has the effect of activating our gluteal and core muscles. At the same time, the calf muscles are minimally lengthened. The result is a more upright posture.
Why -3,7°?
During product development, it was important to us that, in addition to the desired effect of the Negative Heel, we do not influence the natural gait pattern too much and can continue to offer a pleasant walking comfort with the RECOVERY SLOPES. Tests during product development have shown that the 3.7° is the perfect mix of an effective effect and a pleasant wearing comfort.
Can I return the product?
For your return, the product must be in perfect condition. This means concretely: Your SLOPES must not show any signs of use, i.e. they must not be damaged, dirty, washed or worn for a longer period of time. Your SLOPES are in the original packaging.
Can I wear the RECOVERY SLOPES as bathing slippers?
Yes, because the SLOPES are non-slip you can also wear them as bathing slippers.
Where to wear the slipper?
You can wear the RECOVERY SLOPES both indoors and outdoors.
Why are there sometimes small bumps on the RECOVERY SLOPES?
The RECOVERY SLOPES are made of 100% high quality and durable PU foam. During the manufacturing process, the liquid components foam up in the PU mold, forming a high-quality and dimensionally stable product. During this process, the air in the mold flows upwards and sometimes remains on the surface of the SLOPES in the form of small bubbles. The bubbles do not affect the function of the RECOVERY SLOPES and give them an individual touch.
