Compression Boots 2.0

The BLACKROLL® COMPRESSION BOOTS 2.0 support natural lymphatic flow through targeted, intermittent pneumatic compression. The alternating pressure efficiently removes fluids and metabolic waste products from the muscles—similar to manual lymphatic drainage. This not only promotes recovery after a workout but can also reduce swelling and that heavy feeling in your legs. As a result, you'll experience faster recovery and a lighter, more energized feeling in your body.

Mode 1 - Standard Mode for Recovery

The blue program is the standard program for recovery. The chambers fill with air one after another, starting from the bottom and working upward. Only when the top chamber is full do the BOOTS deflate again. This program is particularly effective at promoting the removal of accumulated fluid and lactate.

Recommended duration: 30–60 minutes

Mode 2 – For Recovery & Activation

In green mode, the lowest chamber fills 4 times in a pulsating pattern, and then the air is held. The process then continues with the second, third, and fourth chambers. As soon as the fourth chamber is filled, the first chamber empties and the fifth chamber fills. Afterward, all chambers empty.

This program is particularly effective for increasing blood circulation. You can use this massage mode both before and after a workout.

Recommended duration: 15–60 minutes

Mode 3 – Combination Mode

In the yellow mode, the first three chambers fill up one after the other. Then the first chamber deflates and the fourth fills up. Next, the second chamber deflates and the fifth fills up, and then the third chamber deflates. Afterward, all chambers deflate. Then the first and second chambers fill up simultaneously, followed by the third and fourth, before the fifth fills up. After venting, the program starts over from the beginning.

This program combines the features of the green and blue modes into one. This makes it a versatile program.

Recommended duration: 30–60 minutes

FAQ

When and how do I use compression boots?
In general, it is best to use COMPRESSION BOOTS while lying down or sitting in a relaxed position. Your feet should not be positioned lower than your pelvis—ideally, your legs should be slightly elevated. This facilitates blood flow from the legs back to the heart, which further enhances the compression effect. The boots then do not have to work against gravity, and the removal of lactate and metabolic products can take place more efficiently. Use after exercise : Use the COMPRESSION BOOTS after a workout as soon as your pulse is back to normal. (Depending on the intensity, 10-30 minutes after training) to boost recovery in your legs and prevent muscle soreness. A 30- to 60-minute application of the compression boots at medium to high intensity can improve blood circulation, support lactate breakdown, and thus ensure faster recovery. This allows you to increase the quality of your recovery. Use before exercise : Using the boots before a workout can increase blood circulation in your legs and improve mobility. They are also ideal if you have spent most of the day sitting down. This allows you, as an athlete, to prepare yourself optimally for your workout. Use the BOOTS for 15 to 30 minutes at low to medium intensity before a workout. Use for recovery : Even if you haven't just finished a workout, you can use the COMPRESSION BOOTS to support your recovery. For example, compression boots can help reduce fluid buildup, relieve pain, or reduce muscle tension, or even provide additional support for lymphatic drainage. Use the massager for 30 to 60 minutes at medium to high intensity.
Can COMPRESSION BOOTS also be used on other parts of the body?
No. COMPRESSION BOOTS are only suitable for use on the legs.
Can't I just put my legs up?
COMPRESSION BOOTS and elevating the legs have different mechanisms of action. Overall, COMPRESSION BOOTS are more effective than elevating the legs due to their continuous and even compression.
How do I use the COMPRESSION BOOTS?
There is an on/off slider on the side of the control unit. Use this to switch on the BOOTs and to immediately switch them off if the massage pressure becomes too strong for you. To change the massage mode, press the massage mode button. This is the upper button on the control unit. You can set the intensity level using the lower button.
How long does the battery last?
The battery life depends on the pressure level used. In general, the battery lasts up to 3.5 hours at a low to moderate pressure level. At high intensity, the battery lasts slightly less time. However, it is still sufficient for several massage cycles. If you need longer battery life, for example because you are a trainer or therapist and want to perform several treatments in succession, you can use the continuous drive thanks to the 2.5 m cable.
